national sales manager (m/w) - USA
We are looking for a National Sales Manager to develop our sales network, follow leads and expand our customer base. You would be responsible for acquiring new assignments and projects, by visiting and establishing the dealer network, architects, project managers, key accounts and representing a key figure between different decision makers (project managers, lighting designers. architects, installer and dealer network). You will also offer support to the current distribution network with new product introductions, showroom updates and setting up events and commercial actions. You keep abreast of new trends and new market developments and analyze the competition.
You will be responsible for developing and implementation of the overall sales strategy for the e:cue brand to consistently grow sales in the US market. We have identified a big potential in the US market and your responsibility is to develop and implement a sales plan for our growth.
Your profile:
The successful applicant will be self-motivated and results-oriented and have a strong background in sales management in lighting design industry.
- At least 5 years experience in sales management , preferably in the lighting industry
- Bachelor degree in business administration (MBA preferred)
- Ten years of applicable experience in lighting-related management may act in lieu of a college degree
- Strong Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Current knowledge of modern and historical high intensity discharge, compact fluorescent and LED lighting components, technologies, materials and methods a strong plus. General knowledge of federal and regional lighting standards, codes and product requirements preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of, experience with and proficiency in office computer systems and windows-based software (including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, personal information managers, presentation programs, Internet browsing and e-mail) required.
