software tools
The lighting and video application software suite include the tools which enable to configure values and settings for intelligent lighting installations. Tools included are the patchelor which simplifies patching large matrixes, the network configuration tool, the imagine which provides a visualization of matrix installations and the remote media player.
patchelor
Matrix patch and show preparation tool, integrated into lighting application suite and video application suite
Patching a matrix has never been so simple: The new e:cue patchelor 5 can be easily used to drag-and-drop fixtures into a matrix section and allows a maximum of possibilities: Fixtures can be put into the sections as lines and grids and can be turned and rearranged in any imaginable way. It is now also possible to create matrix sections which include different fixtures and manufacturers. Regardless of whether the matrix consists of desk channels, RGB faders, Traxon or G-Lec fixtures (to name a few) - the patchelor supports a large number of different manufacturers. The included library editor allows easy implementation of any new fixture. The option to use a background picture for easy position and DMX re-addressing of fixtures makes the patchelor a even more versatile tool. In order to directly check if a fixture patch works correctly, an output of check pattern DMX data to the fixtures via e:cue engines is possible.

network configuration tool (NCT)
The network configuration tool,
integrated into lighting application suite and video application suite.
The e:cue network configuration tool, NCT is included in both the lighting and video application suite. This software tool enables the configuration of network based e:cue products via a TCP/IP connection. As long as a network connection serves as the foundation, the NCT searches within the network for available e:cue products and allows the user to adjust the settings. The NCT is also for example in the position to change the IP address of an e:node or a butler as well as define the runtime controls of the butler. On top of that there are other parameters which may be adjusted such as the subnet mask, and received infra-red signals (Philips RC-5, Traxon IR or Insta IR). Depending on the device, various other settings can also be adjusted.

imagine
Realtime 3D visualizing tool, integrated into lighting application suite and video application suite.
The imagine is a real-time 3D visualization tool which connects to the e:cue programmer or e:cue emotion software via network. When running on the same computer or another pc in the network it can visualize LED Systems with a nearly unlimited amount of DMX channels. It receives the 3D information of the patching created from the e:cue patchelor tool. From here it can visualize 2D matrixes as well as 3D structures. imagine makes it easy to see the created DMX data. This perspective on reality and gives the user the great possibility to turn imagination into a visual experience. Available only with the elements/enterprise editions.

remote media player
The remote media player for networks, integrated into lighting application suite and video application suite.
The remote media player for networks, integrated into the lighting application suite. The remote media player can be controlled via TCP/IP by e:cue programmer. Up to 256 PCs running the remote media player can be controlled independently. Two parallel video streams assist with latency-free loading and switching between videos. Commands like playback, seek, volume control and track select are available and can be synchronized to the DMX data, time code or any desired trigger available in the e:cue system.
The remote media player is available for free download at www.ecue.de and is also integrated in both the lighting and video application suites.
