With the reopening of the Antwerp City Hall, the historic Belgian monument experienced an impressive renaissance!

Contemporary interior design combined with the sophisticated lighting control by e:cue and innovative LED lighting technology by Traxon do more than just honour its historic background:

Linking tradition to modernity, the spot has become the new trendy shopping area of Antwerp. Inside the city hall, a uniquely designed wall of various sized Traxon Boards represents the masterpiece of this prestigious project. Being randomly scattered across the wall, Traxon’s lighting control system faced a new challenge. Designed by HAR Hollands and Studio Maramoja, the installation stretches across more than 200 square meters. The Boards are covered by special tailor-made mirror panels and frames, fitting seamlessly to the prestigious work of art. Enabling the creation of splendid light animations with the powerful video mapping features of the e:cue lighting application suite, they add a new dimension of entertainment and communication.
Over 40 different retail and fashion shops of international brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Urban Outfitters, Salsa, Sabon and Nike are able to enjoy now the atmosphere of this standard-setting venue.

Using a e:cue lcs1 lighting control server as a video mapping server and a media engine 2 for the automation of the surrounding building lighting, e:cue provides total control of every lighting aspect involved in this stunning installation.
